The Most Dangerous Game
The aspects of human nature that are examined in the story "The Most Dangerous Game" are insanity v.s sanity illustrated in this qoute "Thank you, I'm a hunter, not a murderer." It shows how General Zaroff is insane by the way he thinks of killing people is a game. To prove this, he said "I wanted the ideal animal to hunt," Rainford asked "What are the attributes of an ideal quarry? The answer was "It must have courage, cunning, and, above all it must be able to reason," said the General. The conversation continued between Rainford and General Zaroff. There is one qoute that proves it "Hunting? Good God, General Zaroff, what you speak of is murderer." Rainford proves a point when he said "Civilized? And you shoot men down?" General Zaroff say's they try to be civilzed, but why would he hunt people down? Because he is insane and thinks murderer is just a game.
